Virgil Abloh and his Off-White empire have gained a reputation for creating an extensive line of cult sneakers. Often teaming up with Nike for reimagined silhouettes, it appears that the designer has changed his tune for Spring/Summer 2019. After presenting Fall/Winter 2019 in Paris last month, the designer has dropped his most sporty design to date. Introducing the “Jogger”.

Speaking true to its name, Abloh has stepped away from the red zip-tags and court-style sneakers for something more along the lines of, well a jogger. Giving in to the chunky sneaker trend, the latest footwear from the label comes with a bouncy sole and rounded toe-box for an ’80s infused design.

Available in three colourways – an all-black, burnt orange and white/turqouise rendition – the sneakers are dressed in panels of suede and piping, finished off with simple Off-White branding. While its colours are bolder than most, its overall design when compared to Abloh’s past styles is considerably more minimalist.
