The gang is back and things are looking freakier than ever. Ever since the trailer was released in January, fans have been gearing up for the latest instalment of Stranger Things and after a patient six months, Netflix has released the third season. Aptly launched on America’s Fourth of July, the series picks up from the 2017 season and is set during the summer of 1985.

Thus far, the highly-anticipated release has been praised for its terrifying new threat – haven’t these kids been through enough?! – and an updated look at the young group of OG members, Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Steve and Hopper.

But while the community of film and television critics hold weight, the Twitter sphere has its own conglomerate of everyday binge watchers and fanatics ready to sum up an entire series into a single meme. And whether you’re well versed in Stranger Things or not, the news feed is entertaining regardless. To save you some time, we’ve rounded up the best tweets.
