Founder and Creative Director Samuel Ross begun his journey to the height of streetwear fashion working for the likes of Kanye West and Virgil Abloh. Since the launch of his label, A-COLD-WALL* in 2015, the British brand has gone onto produce cult buys in droves, and following a collaboration with Oakley earlier this year, he is soaring to new heights with MATCHESFASHION.COM.

A product of British streetwear culture, MATCHESFASHION.COM have collaborated with the A-COLD-WALL* brand to launch a 14-piece collection. Innovative, technical and experimental, the signature aesthetics of Samuel Ross’ line have been epitomised in this exclusive collection while highlighting the current wave of youth-driven street style.

With experimental knitwear and overdyed nylon at the forefront of the partnership, burnt orange tones with hand painted washes capture the artisan detailing of the brand, synchronised using black, slate and taupe overlays. In keeping with the label’s focus on technical streetwear, each piece has been constructed using Venetian mill techniques, finished off with removable graphic components and detachable pockets – modern deconstruction.

“Producing this collection with MATCHESFASHION.COM has been brilliant, it has enabled a boundary pushing take on our modern classics such as forward thinking knitwear and experimental approaches to nylon treatment,” Samuel Ross said in a press release.
