In a bizarre rendition of the rubber shoe, New York street wear label Alfie has joined forces with Crocs. With a trio of new designs, the Croc has been reimagined in Classic, Art and Sport models.

Despite being an unlikely collaboration, this is not the first time the Croc has been redesigned, with Balenciaga taking a stab with platforms in February. The croc “is a fashion misfit, which is why I think our collaboration points out that doing something you love is more important than following the latest trends…I must add that the clog style is trending now, more than a year after we began our project,” noted Aflie’s founder and creative director, Rob Cristofaro.

The Art model includes a selection of 3D-printed “Jibbitz,” Crocs accessories that can be wedged into the toe of the shoe, which reference iconic New York landmarks. The Sport design feature and inbuilt tube socks for maximum comfort and the Classic silhouette is created in grey with the Alfie logo.

Game to give them a spin? The collaboration will drop on the Alfie Website on June 14, retailing for $600 USD.
