Bottega Veneta’s first fragrance collection under Matthieu Blazy takes the art of Intrecciato to a new dimension. This time, it’s not leather being woven, but a rich tapestry of 100% natural essences. Every scent intertwines elements from dream destinations, forming an olfactory collection that takes your imagination on a journey to faraway lands.
Colpo di Sole captures the warmth of the Mediterranean with tranquil French Angelica oil and sensual Moroccan orange blossom. Come with Me brings fresh elegance through a blend of Italian bergamot and the powdery touch of French orris butter. Meanwhile, Acqua Sale evokes the essence of saltwater on skin with woody labdanum from Spain and juniper oil from Macedonia. The sophisticated and seductive Déjà Minuit weaves geranium from Madagascar with the spice of Guatemalan cardamom, while Alchemie delivers opulent layers of Brazilian pink pepper and Somali myrrh.
The bottles themselves are a nod to Venice’s lagoon waters, with their fluid, rippling glass shapes evoking Bottega Veneta’s craftsmanship and the city’s famed Murano glassblowing. Each bottle, made through an innovative process that incorporates air bubbles —typically seen as imperfections— becomes a unique piece of art. The bottles are perched on green Verde Saint Denis marble bases—a signature material in Blazy’s stores—and an homage to Venice’s iconic marble architecture.
