Bottega Veneta is serving up a dose of childhood nostalgia with its new capsule collection inspired by the legendary American author and illustrator, Richard Scarry. This collaboration takes cues from Scarry’s delightfully quirky world, spotlighting none other than Lowly Worm – fashion’s unexpected style star. With his Tyrolean hat, single shoe, and red bowtie, Lowly is “the best-dressed in the world,” according to Creative Director Matthieu Blazy. Who are we to argue? 
The centrepiece is a supersized Biggest Word Book Ever, decked out in Bottega’s signature Intrecciato cover – a literary flex if we’ve ever seen one. Accessories keep the fun rolling, with striped wallets, belts featuring an apple-shaped buckle (because why not?), and sketchbooks for those who fancy scribbling their way to greatness. This collection is proof that when Matthieu Blazy mixes luxury with a little imagination, the results are anything but childish.
