Following the most recent unveiling of the Heron Preston x Carhartt WIP collaboration, the workwear brand has teamed up with Brain Dead for a new graphic capsule. Based in Los Angeles, Brain Dead creates a range of collections taking inspiration from  the worlds of post-punk, comics and skateboarding.

Comprising of a group of creative artists and designers, the Brain Dead collective took a range of classic Carhartt WIP silhouettes – including the carpenter pant and monkeys – and gave it a graphic redesign. Each piece comes in a random of slew of soft colour hues, co-branded. Brown, yellow, blue and green colour makes up the majority of the collection, with key looks including the brown overall and the sheer button-down shirt.

The DIY and experimental aesthetic of the collective label is clearly seen in the collaboration look book, with futuristic and psychedelic creative direction.

Along with the clothes, the partnership will launch Brain Dead Index Vol. 1, an exclusive publication with graphics and illustrations in which more than two dozen artists have collaborated.

The full collection will be available from July 14, from Carhartt WIP and selected stockists. In the meantime explore the look book below.
