For its first-ever runway in Athens, COS didn’t just put on a show—it chiselled a masterpiece. The brand’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection unfolded in the awe-inspiring Dionyssomarble Quarry, a site synonymous with Athenian grandeur. The same marble that built the Parthenon became the dramatic backdrop for COS’ signature minimalism, with models navigating steel staircases and weaving through the cavernous space in a seamless display of form and movement. With 35 looks that balanced structure and ease, the collection echoed the ancient Greeks’ mastery of sculpture—only this time, the statues were in motion.
Menswear took a refined, utilitarian turn. Sleeveless tailoring reworked classic silhouettes, while silk sets introduced a nonchalant luxury perfect for balmy summer nights. Bermuda shorts struck a balance between polished and effortless, layered under lightweight leather jackets that added an unexpected richness to warm-weather dressing. On the footwear front, soft leather sandals and mule loafers proved that classic styles can evolve without losing their edge. And then there was the print—an ethereal marbled effect, inspired not by the quarry itself, but by pressed flower buds, lending a Renaissance touch to the collection’s earthy, off-white palette. Paired with an earthy, off-white palette and hydroponically grown cotton, the collection cements COS’ commitment to timeless design with an innovative twist.
