With his three daughters in the audience, Bruce Willis was the subject of repeated (and savage) jabs on Comedy Central Roast. From his marriage, spectacular film flops and his music career – yes, there was one – it was his ex-wife’s surprise appearance as a main and impromptu roaster that is making headlines today.

Demi Moore, 53, took to the stage to firstly introduce herself. “I was married to Bruce for the first three Die Hard movies, which makes sense because the last two sucked,” the actress opened.

“People wonder why our marriage came to an end, and in all honesty I think it was because some jealousy started to creep in. I think Bruce never really got over the fact that I rocked the bald look better than he did,” Moore joked. “After our divorce, he said he considered the end of our marriage his biggest failure, but Bruce, don’t be so hard on yourself, you’ve had much bigger failures. I mean [business venture] Planet Hollywood, Hudson Hawk, Striking Distance, campaigning for Michael Dukakis, turning down Clooney’s role in Ocean’s Eleven to focus on playing the harmonica?”

Moore did, however, lighten a little when she referred to her 12-year marriage to Willis citing it as “some of the best times of her life”. To her, he was, “easily one of my top three husbands,” she joked. Willis hugged Moore at the end and said she was “terrific…very surprising and very cool.”

While both incredibly successful, we’re sure Willis could serve back a couple of hits at Moore’s movie career and marriage to Ashton Kutcher.
