Be it the cabin fever setting in or our strange fascination with looking inside the homes of the rich and successful, but following a peek inside his Toronto mansion on his ‘Toosie Slide’ music video, the rapper’s house has been highly-publicised in recent days. Naturally, Twitter is roasting the lavish decor and OTT fit out, but until now, the multi-million dollar residence has remained a mystery. Partnering with Architectural Digestwe now have a complete tour of the home.

Featured on the May 2020 cover, the full spread reveals high ceilings, marble and granite walls and winding staircases, with KAWS figures dotted throughout the space. The massive proportions are just the beginning of the luxury home and one of its stand-out features include an NBA-sized basketball court. He told the publication his favourite area of the house is his 3,200-square-foot-bedroom and accompanying 1,100-square-foot covered terraces.

“The bedroom is where I come to decompress from the world at the end of the night and where I open my eyes to seize the day. The bed lets you float, the shower lets you escape and gather your thoughts, and the closet makes you want to talk to yourself while you’re getting dressed.”

“Because I was building it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand firm for 100 years. I wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel. It will be one of the things I leave behind, so it had to be timeless and strong.”

Elsewhere the space features a black granite swimming pool, several match-worn NBA jerseys and a bespoke Bösendorfer concert grand piano designed in collaboration with Rafauli and Takashi Murakami.
