America’s Cup is one of the world’s oldest sporting trophies and in honour of this event, Ralph Lauren has created a capsule collection ‘CP-93’, under the Polo brand.

The collection has taken direct inspiration from the 1993 line that followed Ralph Lauren’s sponsorship of the 1992 America’s Cup, with strong nautical ties and shapes linked to the theme. The creative direction for the shoot sees the fearless prints teamed with classic white suiting. Winner.

With bright and bold prints and not surprisingly taking styling cues from the ’90s, this collection is not for the faint hearted. Made up of 24 pieces, the line includes anoraks, polo shirts, shorts, bags and hats.

You’ll have to wait till May 31 for a piece of the action, but in the meantime take a look at every item in the collection.
