Newly appointed Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller has just presented her first Resort collection for Givenchy. With a combination of ’80s and ’90s design cues, the new creative has given the French fashion house a facelift for the upcoming season.

Taking inspiration from founder Hubert de Givenchy’s own sports line from the 80’s – ‘Givenchy Sport’ – Keller combines laid-back sportswear with refined evening pieces. Characterised by oriental influences, the line includes bold prints layered masterfully with staple pieces, structured bags and accessories. Consisting of tones of blacks, greys and reds, the collection looks are offset with pale blues and white for welcomed contrast.

From elasticised pants, second-skin tops and the odd pair of sneakers with printed collar-shirts, perfectly tailored pants and luxury outerwear, Givenchy may of just made it possible to wear activewear out to dinner (winning).
