Is there nothing Harry Styles cannot wear? In a new romantic setting born from creative genius and director Alessandro Michele and world-renowned photographer Harmony Korine, the musician and style icon faces Gucci Pre-Fall 2019. Bringing to life an antique roadshowesque background, the ambassador highlights the latest threads from the Italian fashion house.

Following the Met Gala which saw Harry Styles go ‘camp’ with period-style Gucci, the newest season champions relaxed sportswear with sharp tailoring. Against heritage-style monogram print in warm beige tones, electric blues and pinks offer a striking visual. In true Gucci fashion, expert tailoring – seemingly more modern silhouettes – were pulled into a nonchalant ’80s era, with oversized basketball tracksuits and basic t-shirts.

Pool slides, western boots and classic scarves finished off each look and with Styles facing the campaign, a rock ‘n roll vibe encapsulated the entire shoot. And if that weren’t enough – just as farm animals made a cameo in Autumn/Winter 2018 – swans and piglets created an additional eloquence to the avant-garde backdrop.
