Harry Styles has the voice of an angle and apparently, a heart of one too. Last month, the global superstar took to a Tiny Desk concert to ease our anxiety with his sweet ballads and timeless tunes. But in new information, the UK-born singer hasn’t stopped there. Announced today, Harry Styles has partnered with the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, powered by the UN Foundation.
To support the important work done by the non-profit organisation, the 26-year-old has released a limited-edition T-shirt via his website. “Stay Home. Stay Safe. Protect Each Other,” the front reads, while the back continues, “This T-shirt fights COVID-19. Treat people with kindness.” Made available for just $26 USD, 100 percent of the proceeds will support WHO’s work to track and understand the spread of the virus; to ensure patients get the care they need and frontline workers get essential supplies and information; and to accelerate efforts to develop vaccines, tests, and treatments.
“In times like these, it is more important than ever to remember the power of people. If you are able to help, please donate where you can. 100% of the profits of this t-shirt will go towards fighting COVID-19. Stay home, self-isolate, and protect each other. TPWK,” Styles says.
