Harry Styles has an abundance of tattoos—over 50 and counting, and some more decipherable in meaning than others. But as the singer enjoyed a post world tour sojourn in Italy, he revealed some telling ink.
Enjoying the sunshine on a boat in Lake Bolsena with friends, the singer revealed just how serious him and his ex, Olivia Wilde, were before they split last November. In photos obtained by Page Six, the singer flashed what appeared to be the world ‘Olivia’ tattooed on his upper thigh as he rolled up his short green board shorts.
The word ‘colazione’—which is Italian for breakfast—also appeared to be inked below Wilde’s name. While it’s unclear if the two are related, fans have speculated a connection with his lyrics to the song ‘Keep Driving’ from the album, Harry’s House. In it, he sings:
Maple syrup, coffee,
pancakes for two, hashbrown,
egg yolk, I will always love you.
Others have thrown around some more NSFW connections, but we digress.
The fact that he chose the Italian word also speaks volumes, as the country would’ve held a special place in the former couple’s hearts given that it was their first holiday destination together. In July of 2021, Wilde and Styles were first spotted packing on some PDA by the water in Tuscany after months of dating rumours. Paparazzi shots captured the loved-up duo dancing on a boat and enjoying each other’s company under the sun.
The two returned for a romantic getaway in May of 2022.
After meeting on the set of her film Don’t Worry Darling, Wilde, 39, and Styles, 29, began their controversial romance. Though the two seemed quite smitten, Wilde’s tumultuous split from Jason Sudeikis, whom she shares two children with, constantly saw their relationship under scrutiny.
On the boat, Styles was joined by James Corden and Victoria’s Secret model Jacquelyn Jablonski, 32. Given his propensity for daitng models, we wouldn’t be surprised if there was new romance on the horizon. Although, we’re not if the tattoo would be a dealbreaker…
