US music festival ComplexCon saw the city of Long Beach, California come alive with pop culture, music and art and along with an abundance of international artists and personalities the street stye was among the finest. Spotted at the annual event, Drake (Jazz) Brown was seen rocking a killer pair of yellow flares – and we’re digging it.

In recent years, experimentation of fashion has been at the forefront of the industry, and blurring the lines between style and scandal, the scene has been blown wide-open for a slew of micro trends – on the menu today, yellow. Coming to fruition in the 80’s and ’90s, sunshine yellow has come to define Generation Z and if you’re keen to rock the killer hue, take notice of the Instagram up-and-comer.

Whether it be with a bold yellow, green or red, successful colour blocking comes down to keeping everything else simple. If you’re a rookie to the style, opt for white sneakers and a basic shirt for a fail-safe formula.
