When it comes to the classic camouflage print, it is easy to spark comments like, “Woah, your arm is invisible”, or, “Has anyone seen Jacko?”. But as the print moves into coveted territory, it has become the style to wear this season. Splashed on basic silhouettes or trending threads, your only battle starts with which way to sport the style and courtesy of Coach, it is easy to elevate your kit.
Born from the concrete jungle of New York, the American fashion house dubs itself, ‘The Original House of Leather’, and here we can see why, with a modern application. According to ICON stylist Patrick Zaczkiewicz, “Camo is the new neutral,” when it comes to the key feature of the look: the reversible leather jacket. “It can be paired with almost anything and here you’ve got your signature COACH tee in burgundy. I think this colour play is fun and interesting,” he advises.
While for the rookie experimenter, it’s a safe bet to pair any camo print with black, white or a tonal colour palette, Patrick suggests going for something bold and fun – albeit in small doses.
“The monogram fur slides are a must have statement piece. The fur may be a bit daring for most but in a casual slipper, it makes it more relaxed and cool.”
