It’s been a long wait. Last July, designer Simon Porte Jacquemus debuted his first Spring/Summer 2019 menswear collection on the beachside of his small hometown. Expanding his offering and pushing his design profile out of exclusively feminine silhouettes, the young designer presented ‘Le Gadjo’, drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean man.

Like his past womenswear collections, designs came in the form of relaxed basics and Parisian-inspired style, this time expertly paired for a more masculine approach. Influenced by Comme des Garçons and his home of Southern France, looks were refined yet equally modern, as models stormed the poolside runway with the addition of bucket hats and distinctive leather goods – making the collection all the more crowd-pleasing.

Now, key pieces from the Spring/Summer collection have dropped – and we’ll take one of everything, thank you.

Amongst lightweight knitwear and tailored shorts, the first drop from the French label includes relaxed white trousers and accompanying poplin shirts, as well as its cult XS leather cross-body bags. Ready to cop before the looming end of summer, shop ICON’s picks below.
