If there is one way to enter a sporting match, this would absolutely be it.

Last Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers arrived to the arena, where they were set to play the Indiana Pacers, all in matching suits. If this wasn’t epic enough, they were all dressed by extraordinaire of the suiting game, Thom Browne.

Courtesy of LeBron himself via Browne, each player – including Kevin Love, J. R. Smith, George Hill, Jordan Clarkson, and Jose Calderon – made an entrance wearing a bespoke grey Super 120 twill suit, complete with an oxford shirt, tie, cashmere cardigan, and boots or sneakers. “All of us suiting up together was just a new idea and something we all wanted to try,” said James.

According to the New York Times, the pair wanted to send a message to their fans, especially towards the younger generation. “These guys represent so much to so many people, especially young kids,” Browne told the publication. “They look up to these guys to see what they can aspire to. And they represent working hard to be really good at what they do. That’s ultimately what everyone is going to see,” he added.
