Former One Direction member Liam Payne has left fans scratching their head at his new appearance after the English singer appeared at a red carpet event looking extremely, ahem, chiselled.
Payne was attending the premier of fellow One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson’s documentary All Of Those Voices in London where fans noticed drastic changes to Payne’s cheeks and jawline.

Earlier images of Payne from last year show him with fuller cheeks and softer jawline. While weight loss could be attributed to the changes, Payne has always been lean but has equally always had a rugged, naturally handsome face with, by all accounts, an already decent jawline.
Hence the surprise when he arrived at All of Those Voices.
Some are suggesting that the 29-year-old Payne has undergone one of the current buzz surgeries that has taken hold of celebrities, buccal fat removal. The procedure removes fat from the face, specifically in the cheek area, to produce a hollowed out, thinner look.

Others have also theorised that Payne has had chin filler along with buccal fat removal.
But there’s also those who suspect that Payne’s new look is similar to Zac Efron, with a wider more square jawline.
Last year, Efron gave an interview about the sudden change in appearance, saying it was the result of falling over at home and overdeveloped masseter muscles.

Payne has yet to respond to fans and there’s little to suggest he would – or should, if we’re being honest. Even if he has undergone a sneaky little surgery to address whatever he felt needed changing, it’s his choice to do so.
It’s equally his choice and right to not give any explanation for it. Just as long as old mate’s happy, that’s all that matters innit bruv?
