Due to go on tour next month, rapper and former boyfriend to Ariana Grande, Mac Miller died of an overdose last Thursday. According to TMZ, the artist was found in his San Fernando Valley home on Friday afternoon, local time. A shock to the hip-hop and hollywood community, fellow a-list rappers have taken to social media to express their condolences.
Miller has publicly struggled with drug and alcohol abuse in the past, arrested for a DUI hit-and-run on May 17, with Grande splitting with him in July following sobriety issues.
From Chance The Rapper to Snoop Dogg and Khalid have paid tribute to the artist, with Ariana Grande still silent on the news.
God fucking dammit. You were such an incredible person. You changed so many lives. Had so much love in your heart. You inspired me throughout highschool, and I wouldn't be where I was today without you. Never a more kind and sincere and beautiful person. I fucking love you mac.
