Despite current uncertainties as to what the annual Apple conference may look like in light of the pandemic, the Californian-based company appears to be full steam ahead for its new products. With the countdown to September already underway, rumours and so-called insider tips are already at work with predictions of what the new iPhone may look like.

According to new reports, the new Apple flagship iPhone will be reminiscent of the 2019 iPad Pro. Drawing from design cues of old iPhone models – fans appear to be longing for the flat edges and streamlined design – the upcoming iPhone 12 is expected to have flat steel edges yet smaller bezels to that of previous models. Rumours also suggest it will utilise the iPad Pro’s newly implemented 3D LIDAR system for improved AR capabilities, boasting three camera lenses.

Elsewhere, experts believe a low-end Apple HomePod will be introduced to the market, alongside Apple Tags key trackers – handy. While the event is due for mid-September this year, it is still unknown if it will go ahead and in what capacity.
