Emirates Team New Zealand claims victory at the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona.

Emirates Team New Zealand has once again secured the Auld Mug, claiming victory at the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona. Unveiled in its signature Louis Vuitton Trophy trunk, the coveted prize was awarded by none other than LVMH Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, alongside Louis Vuitton’s Chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari. Beccari praised the New Zealand team for their unparalleled achievement of winning three consecutive Cups:

“As both the defender and organizer of the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup – and now also the only one to win three times in a row with the same team – you have demonstrated exceptional skill on and off the water, setting a high bar for future editions.”

Beccari went on to congratulate the INEOS Britannia team “To INEOS Britannia, my sincere admiration for your formidable challenge. We are proud to have presented you with the Louis Vuitton Cup and its trophy trunk, a symbol of your remarkable achievement.”

The Louis Vuitton Trophy trunk tradition began in 1988, when the brand first crafted a special case for the Auld Mug. This legacy continues today with a modern take on the Trophy Trunk, meticulously handcrafted at Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshop. Paying homage to the 37th edition of the America’s Cup in Barcelona, the trunk is adorned with the iconic Monogram canvas, and proudly features a bold “V” for Victory, with striking blue and red stripes on its front doors—a perfect blend of heritage and contemporary design.
