August marks the 50th anniversary of the much famed Woodstock festival that ultimately saw a violent end with riots in 1999. The highly-publicised Woodstock 50 revival event didn’t go ahead this month thanks to a slew of logistical issue but nevertheless, the music event that promoted peace and love in the state of New York is still being remembered. Introducing the adidas UltraBOOST ‘Woodstock’ sneakers.

Teaming up with sneaker retailer Nice Kicks, adidas UltraBOOST is offering up a tie-dye version of its cult running silhouette. Featuring a semi-translucent cage and white midsole, the forthcoming silhouette boasts a vibrant rainbow tie-dye print on a classic knitted upper. Finished off with white laces and cobranding on the tongue and red licensed branding from Woodstock, it is the perfect pair to wear on the streets and on the track – we’d refrain from wearing them to an actual festival, they may get ruined.

You can cop the pair now from Nice Kicks, retailing for $180 USD.

Earlier this month, HUF and Woodstock Ventures linked up for a collaborative capsule featuring archival images and prints from the music festival. Featuring a limited-edition Crowd Twill Workwear Jacket and Sunset Pullover Hoodie as well as reimagined kit essentials, some pieces are still available. Visit the website here.
