Each year, Hublot marks the arrival of summer with a sense of occasion that goes beyond the timepiece itself. Since 2017, its seasonal launches have unfolded across the Mediterranean’s most iconic settings – from Saint-Tropez to Ibiza. This summer, the celebration landed in Mykonos, where Hublot gathered friends of the brand for an experience shaped by light, sound, and watchmaking innovation.

The Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 made its debut against this electric backdrop. Drenched in orange and sky blue ceramic, the watch carries the pulse of a Mediterranean summer (warm, unfiltered, and full of movement). Its case glows like golden hour, while the sky-toned bezel mirrors the sea. It’s built for days that begin on the beach and end somewhere unexpected.

Hublot’s Mykonos gathering brought together the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, and DJ Mattia Vitale of Meduza, along with collectors and creatives. But the focus remained clear. This launch is a statement in colour and craft, and with three interchangeable rubber straps – blue, dark blue, and orange – secured by Hublot’s patented One-Click system, the watch shifts tone and terrain with ease.

Made from the brand’s own high-tech ceramic, the Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 is exceptionally lightweight and highly resistant, offering both comfort and performance. It’s water-resistant to 100 metres and powered by the Unico movement, a flyback chronograph with a 72-hour power reserve and a skeletonised structure that reveals the mechanics beneath.

The release also marks two decades of the Big Bang collection, first introduced in 2005 and now recognised as one of modern watchmaking’s defining lines. Its mix of forward-thinking design, material experimentation, and in-house calibres continues to shape the brand’s identity. Hublot’s concept of “The Art of Fusion” remains a living idea – refined, energetic, and in constant motion – and with the Summer 2025 edition, it’s bold, it’s engineered, and entirely in tune with the season ahead.
