Pharrell Williams has been a long time partner of Chanel and after his last collaborative effort with the fashion house in late 2017, he has returned for a new collection. During his attendance at the Cruise 2018 show in Bangkok, the artist announced the news, pointing at his yellow sweatshirt teasing “coming soon”.
Adorned in glittered Chanel branding and fun patches, Williams gave us a first look at what is to come. Known for his unique style, Chanel has confirmed the project in a press release, but pricing details have not been mentioned. According to WWD, the collaboration will drop into its new Seoul flagship store on March 29, 2019, with a larger roll out in selected boutiques from April 4.
Close to the Chanel family, Pharrell Williams has appeared in past campaigns for the fashion house, composed an original song for Karl Lagerfeld, and more recently worked on a Chanel x Adidas sneaker collaboration.
