News

This morning marks a dark day.
After news erupted across the internet yesterday following the death of Karl Lagerfeld, tributes from friends, family and those whom would never meet the figurehead started to flood social media. Passing away at age 85, the kaiser of fashion was reportedly working up until he had died, directing Thursday’s Fendi show in Milan.
Behind his own namesake brand and Fendi, the designer was most known for his work on Chanel, rising the Parisian fashion house to prominence in 1983. To those who did not know the German-born creative, at best he appeared elusive, but the slew of stories speaking of his generosity, kind heart and humour have surfaced from around the world.
Flower tributes have begun stacking up at the door of the fashion house in Paris while on social media, celebrities and fellow creatives are all paying homage to Lagerfeld.

Rest in peace Karl Lagerfeld. A true fashion maestro and visionary who inspired many. The impact he made and the legacy he left will live on.
