First revealed back in September, the ’90s Air Huarache design has been revisited with a utilitarian approach and after waiting just under four weeks since the announcement, the Gripp rendition has dropped. Sharing official photos, Nike has given sneaker heads a closer peek at the updated look.

Tailored towards various weather conditions, the standard midsole has remained untouched with the addition of a detachable shroud as well as rigid sole designed for everyday wear and tough terrain. The lacing system which is hidden, is also designed for hardwearing conditions and is comprised of a zipper and thick rope laces that add an increased lockdown fit to its already snug inner bootie.

The unique design is available in two colour-ways, “Fight” and “Flight”, a Olive/Canvas-Indigo Burst and Sail/Team Orange-Wolf Grey respectively.

Both colour-ways are now dropping into Nike retailers and Nike SNKRS, going for $150 USD a pop. Visit the site and get in line.
