Local architectural firm Punto Arquitectónico have gained the attention of design enthusiasts across the world by transforming the ruined dwelling into a gemstone of architectural innovation.

From the facade of the Mexican home, it maintains it historic structure but beyond the front door is a modern interior. Contrasting from the buildings original walls, the space has been transformed with graphic tiling, modern artwork and colourful furniture.

Split into two main sections, the main house contains the living room, dining room, kitchen, and a guest suite, while the rear of the property houses the master suite. A central terrace creates a link between the two, with the historic stone walls providing an outdoor patio with a sitting area, hammock, and free-flowing swimming pool.
