Loving him was red—Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have cemented their all-American love story with a passionate on-field rendezvous following the Kansas City Chiefs victory. In a scene straight out of the 2001 fairytale-themed teen romance, A Cinderella Story, the pop supernova rushed onto the playing ground to celebrate the Missouri team’s promotion to the upcoming Super Bowl championship.

Kelce and his teammates are officially progressing to the final showdown in Las Vegas in late February. By the looks of things, Swift could be making a quick pit stop in Sin City between her Japanese and Australian Eras Tour legs, too.

Swift descended from her perch in the stadium box to embrace the tight end near the 50-yard line in an atypical display of public affection. (For the uninitiated, the last time we saw Swift and Kelce in this state was after her show in Argentia when she gleefully sang “Karma was the guy on the Cheifs” and ran into his arms after the three-hour set).

Both Swift and Kelce were in jubilant spirits after the nail-biting win, with their rare romantic interaction immortalised by prying camera lenses. In videos captured at the moment, Swift and Kelce could be seen sharing a private kiss. At one point, the 34-year-old covered their faces with her hands to make the intimate moment more inconspicuous.  The burgeoning couple were all smiles as they feted the victory with Kelce’s parents and teammates.

Earlier in the evening, Swift was seen in situ at her game day haunt—a private viewing area in the stands. Since taking their relationship public in September last year, Swift has used football games as another medium to convey her starry friendship. For the penultimate match of the season, Swift was joined by British supermodel Cara Delevingne and Miles Teller’s wife, Keleigh SperryThe trio opted for a more demure take on spectator style, with Swift selecting a fire-engine red cashmere sweater from Gigi Hadid’s knitwear label, Guest In Residence.

Swift will soon flock south to bring her billion-dollar grossing tour to the Asia-Pacific. We can bet the musician is scheduling last-minute fittings and styling sessions to perfect her Super Bowl ensemble as we speak.

Watch the heartfelt moment, as captured in a series of photographs, unfold below.
