Oh we’ve missed this. That is, Timothée Chalamet lending the internet a source of outfit inspiration at every event, red carpet and press event. Nevertheless, the Beautiful Boy actor been spotted once again lurking around the streets of New York looking effortlessly cool in a new fit.
While Chalamet donned a LOEWE jacket, velour sweatpants – a return of the ’90s we thought we’d never see trending again – and of course, a black mask, eyes naturally turned to his colourful new kicks. The 24-year-old is no stranger to a splash of colour however. In October 2019, the actor stepped out onto the red carpet in Australia wearing an electric blue Haider Ackerman combo and for the premier of Little Women in Paris late last year, he bravely wore a bright pink Stella McCartney suit.
STAUD’s latest collaboration with the New Balance 997 silhouette sees a combination of gold, rust, blue, pink, green and white. The colourway is said to draw inspiration from an ’80s gym look worn by Princess Diana. The colourful suede iteration is not an easy one to pull off, particularly for any streetwear enthusiast who often dons colour through clothing. Chalamet on the other hand perfectly pairs the shoe with an all-black look – a fail safe strategy if attempting the look from home.
This could also work with an indigo denim pant and white t-shirt. Anything that draws the eye from up top, to the hero shoe. Shop the kicks below.
