Today is the day. After 256 games across a four-month season, the Super Bowl is finally upon us. Facing off today against the Los Angeles Rams, the New England Patriots arrived at the Superdome in Atlanta in spectacular style. Unlike various events that see athletes sport a tracksuit, the Super Bowl is an event of player-style. And so, Tom Brady delivered.
Filling into the Superdome today, Brady stepped into the arena as if he were on his way to New York Fashion Week. Sporting a lightweight sweater, weather-appropriate chelsea boots and a taupe man-bag, the winning piece came in the form of a long-line suede trench.
Other than nailing his off-field fashion, the long-time athlete will be wanting to create more headlines as he looks to make history, becoming the first man to cop his sixth Super Bowl ring. And as for retiring? He says there is “zero” chance of that happening.
Appearing on ESPN ahead of his ninth Super Bowl, Brady confirmed he will continue his quest to play until 45. “I fell like I’ve said that a lot… and I repeat the same answer but no one wants to believe me,” Brady said. “I’ve set a goal for myself at 45 and like I said before, it is very hard to make it that far. I know how hard it was this year and the commitment it takes and hopefully I’ve learned from some of the things that happened this year…”
And until he retires, you can enjoy his spectacular performance at the Super Bowl LIII, streaming live now on 7Plus.
