Despite his main claim to fame being his rap game, and only been in the industry for six years, Scott has already made a name for himself in the fashion industry. His list of high-profile collaborations is long and hailing from the grasps of Nike, Scott has gone on to work with the likes of Ksubi and Helmut Lang, also fronting for Saint Laurent SS17.
Whether it’s his influence from partner Kylie Jenner, or simply good taste, the 26 year-old has become a front-row regular at Fashion Week, getting the fashion community talking. While he can thank his 10.5 million following for his influence over the millennial generation, his unique twist on streetwear is what gives him an edge over the standard dress.

Pink is the new Black
While colour makes its way into streetwear, pink is no longer exclusive to the preppy dresser. Pay attention to your skin tone to avoid looking washed out, and use the colour as a statement piece against a plain outfit.
Making his debut with Kylie Jenner on the red carpet of the MET, this is a more reserved look for Scott but equally as iconic. A different take on the suit, he has looked to military influence with strong lines, excellent fit and the addition of a utility belt.
There is something to be said about how crisp an all-white ensemble looks and with the influence of Virgil Abloh’s LV SS19 collection, colour blocking is back on trend. If you really want a stand-out look, try a bold colour contrast.
Not exactly groundbreaking, but Travis Scott does pull off the double-denim look well. He does this by keeping the whole look relaxed with the attitude to max. Stick to similar styles for both the jeans and jacket and break up the look with a different coloured t-shirt.
If there is one thing that Travis Scott does well, it is the oversized bomber. Unified in all the right ways, the camo bomber is best matched with tonal pieces for an easy look. Try this with any colour-way for a go-to uniform.
Still rocking the sandals and slides, Scott pairs two bold colours that surprisingly work in tune together. To replicate the look, trying pairing contrasting colours in similar tones (for example match pastels with pastel and bright tones with bright tones). Need a hand seeing what works? One of Scott’s signature looks would have to be the check over shirt. Relatively easy to put together, avoid looking like your uncle Bill by adding a logo tee, and high-baller sneakers for high-end appeal.
