It has been over a month since the Vans x Harry Potter collaboration was announced. As expected skate and Potter fanatics alike eagerly joined the bandwagon to cop a piece of the unique collection. While surfacing reports teemed with teasers and sneak peeks of the collaborative effort, the hotly anticipated collection is now live.
Like Vans did for skateboarding, J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series constructed a hyped, cultural niche of super fans, and so a collaboration just made sense. A world phenomena in its own respects, Vans and Harry Potter have offered up an extensive collection of themed apparel, accessories and most importantly, sneakers.
Named and styled for each house of the famed Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the line features four exclusive colorways in the classic silhouettes, Sk8-Hi, Era, Authentic and Classic Slip-On. Additionally, a ComfyCush Era boasts the film’s fictitious newspaper.
Along with the unique sneaker iterations is a selection of men’s and women’s apparel emblazoned with co-branding and iconic symbols, in similarly styled Hogwarts themes. Key pieces include an Old Skool Backpack in Gryffindor colorway, Torrey Black in Deathly Hallows and a Harry Potter 4 Houses Pullover in white.
