After its iconic beginnings in 2017, Virgil Abloh and his epic line of “The Ten” collaborations with sporting giant Nike have been taking over the sneaker-sphere for almost two years. What sparked a sell-out performance after each release followed by huge resale value across the web, the zip-tagged sneakers have become an iconic piece in street style history. But apparently, all good things must come to an end.

Announced via his personal Instagram, the designer behind Off-White and Louis Vuitton teased an iteration of a black Air Force 1, followed by: “Small fact: Personally I’m visually obsessed with the combination of black sneaker / white swoosh white laces. Hence every edition of the last ever “10” came as such”.

He had also teased the sneakers via a post captioned “the A-Z”. Now it all makes sense.

Whilst it may mean the end of a line of collaborative sneakers in “The Ten” collection, it is believed that the close relationship between Nike and Abloh will continue.

Stay tuned for its release date.
