Few brands do artistry and innovation quite like ZEGNA. Its craftsmanship has always gone beyond tailoring, dipping its toes in texture, proportion, and now, space, and the newly reopened Negozio at The Dubai Mall proves that.
ZEGNA’s Dubai space isn’t a simple reopening. Under the creative vision of Alessandro Sartori, the Italian house continues to redefine what menswear — and the spaces it lives in — can be. The Italian house doesn’t treat their outlets as simple transaction points, but a luxury immersion for their clientele. The Negozio’s design makes this evident, with travertine and oak floors laid in herringbone and artwork that draws from Born in Oasi Zegna, a visual ode to the maison’s heritage.
The architecture flows in two parts: a grand, double-height nave and a more intimate one, with lower ceilings and soft edges. They’re separated by a key innovation: a backlit wall with leather-clad, sliding panels that allow customers to move between the two spaces.
Artisan craftsmanship also shares the spotlight, with tables in solid wood by Riva1920 and handwoven tapestries from Sardinian atelier Mariantonia Urru lining the walls. “Spaces should hold emotion,” Sartori has said before.
The new space also introduces ZEGNA X, a personalised wardrobe platform powered by cutting-edge technology. Clients can design from 49 billion combinations using a 3D configurator, and have their creations delivered to their doorstep in under four weeks.
The store covers the entire breadth of ZEGNA’s sartorial universe, from elevated leisurewear and tailoring to footwear and accessories. You can spot Torino style tailoring, the AW25 season’s anchor which pays homage to the founder’s first suit. Iconic ZEGNA pieces like the Il Conte jacket and Triple Stitch shoe also feature.
The Dubai Mall may be known for its signature bustle, but one step into ZEGNA’ new Negozio and you’d never know it. And if that sounds like a tall tale to you, maybe it’s time for a visit to see for yourself.
