Zegna’s Winter 2025 “Vellus Aureum” Fashion Show at Allianz MiCo felt like stepping into an oasis, with rolling grassy hills that took you straight to the lush, green landscapes of Australia. This immersive setting wasn’t just for show—it celebrated Zegna’s deep-rooted connection to nature and craftsmanship. The collection honoured the legacy of the Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Trophy, founded in 1963 to recognise the world’s finest wool, and brought to life the mythical Golden Fleece.
Models of all ages strolled through the serene set in a collection full of deconstructed blazers, cashmere-collared overcoats, and oversized blousons. The standout? Vellus Aureum, a rare wool fibre that redefines softness and sophistication. Whether it was the shearling Il Conte jacket or the Mocassin, crafted in earthy hues inspired by nature, every piece embodied Zegna’s quest for the extraordinary. The earthy hues of fossil, ginepro, and Gattinara red are a testament to Zegna’s mastery in combining the best of nature with refined craftsmanship.
