As if you didn’t need any more evidence that YouTuber Logan Paul was terrible but the social media star has now been accused of dumping and abandoning his pet pig Pearl.
The US-based animal sanctuary The Gentle Barn revealed the details of Pearl’s discovery and condition in a video shared on TikTok. In it, the animal rescue group state that Pearl had been found “abandoned” in a field.
Pearl was found alone in a field next to another pig who had passed away. She came to us with tattered ears and a potentially life-threatening infection in her uterus that has since been healed. She’s clearly been through so much trauma that we can’t begin to imagine, but she’s now safe with us at The Gentle Barn. From what we’ve been told, it’s believed she was purchased originally from a breeder by an influencer. People often buy “mini pigs” or “teacup pigs” for clout online, believing they will stay small. When they inevitably grow very large and have many unexpected needs, they’re sadly discarded. While we don’t know everything she’s been through in her past, we know her life is now filled with friends, nutritious foods, the highest quality care, and so much love. #pigrescue #animalrescuestory #abandonedanimals #pigsoftiktok #farmanimalrescue #thegentlebarn
The pig, with distinct black and white colouring, was in a “mangled” state they said and lucky to be alive. Her ears were tattered and she was suffering from a potentially life-threatening infection in her uterus.
To make the whole event sadder, Pearl was found next to another pig that unfortunately had already passed away before they could rescue them.
While the viral video of the rescue states that the pig they had found was “purchased originally from a breeder by an influencer” they stopped short from naming Paul directly.
But internet sleuths have come out swinging, bringing up photos shared by Paul himself back in 2020 where he states he had originally purchased Pearl under the impression she was a miniature pig.
“I bought Pearl over a year ago. I was told she was a mini pig… she’s not” he wrote above the picture of himself with Pearl.

Directly under this, Paul shares an earlier picture of a much younger Pearl.

So far, Paul has not responded to the accusations. But the evidence doesn’t look good. But does anyone expect anything else from the person who once filmed a suicide for his YouTube channel?
Or has been accused of running a crypto scam?
Or spent US$3.5 million on fake Pokemon cards that people think was all an act because the guy is just that messy?
At least we know Pearl is in a happier, safer place with people who will actually care for her.
