Another day, another red carpet (or should we say ‘blue carpet). This evening, Hollywood’s brightest stars have begun to make their way to the Critics’ Choice Awards 2019 live in Santa Monica, California, and with another opportunity to snap up awards for the best in film and television, it’s also another chance to steal star-studded style.
Following up from his headline-making style at the Golden Globes – glitter harness anyone? – 23-year-old Timothée Chalamet is making yet another statement. While the young actor turned heads in a brush-print suit finished in a metallic sheen, it was his choice of shoes that cemented his position as a style icon to watch.
What we can expect to make all sneaker heads excited, the Beautiful Boy star ditched the obligatory oxfords for a more ‘street’ approach – enter in the Alexander McQueen sneakers. Another look proving the chunky trend is not yet dead, Chalamet stayed comfortable in the ‘Oversized Runner’. Keeping the look refined, the sneakers were stark white with a silver colourblock heel, while his plain t-shirt and gold chain played down the otherwise bold suit.
