Don’t get me wrong, past grade 10 visual arts class, painting is not my forte. In fact, the very idea of a room full of strangers silently judging your work is a little terrifying but after a pairing of some of Australia’s best craft beer, it was a little less daunting and maybe, just maybe, I’ll have another go. Dubbed ‘Arts ‘n’ Crafts’, BWS is inviting Sydney-siders to open a cold one and channel your inner Picasso, this Friday.

Situated at Cork and Canvas in Crows Nest, those who consider themselves craft beer aficionados will have the opportunity to sample a range of palatable new and emerging craft beers provided by BWS. Over the course of two hours, guests will enjoy four unique craft beers including the likes of Young Henrys Newtowner, Wayward Raspberry Berliner Weisse, Bentspoke Crankshaft IPA, and Philter XPA. Whether you’re an experienced artist or amateur, you’ll create a take-home masterpiece under the instruction of a BWS Craft Beer expert and a skilled art instructor.

The one-off event reimagines the cult event, Paint and Sip, swapping the wine for Australian, award-winning brews. You will be provided with all painting materials, glassware, bottle openers and ice, bites and a take-home gift bag. What more could you want?
