If you haven’t heard of KAWS, let us catch you up. Known for his larger-than-life figures and celebrity appeal, Brian Donnelly (aka KAWS) has built a career that spans graffiti beginnings to high-brow gallery status. Over the years, KAWS’s beloved COMPANION character has transformed from flat 2D artwork into colossal sculptures, with some, like Wonderful World, selling for an impressive $400,000 USD. His work has become a status symbol among celebs, with fans like Pharrell, BTS, and DJ Khaled proudly showing off their KAWS pieces.
Now, he’s bringing that pop culture energy straight into the heart of Dior, and the result? An ultra-stylised collection that’s playful, bold, and totally unexpected. The standout feature is a cheeky reptilian version of the “CD” initials: a majestic, snake-like figure that weaves in and out of the iconic letters, creating a sense of movement and mystery. This graphic detail finds its way onto cotton faille Bermudas, quilted shirts with Dior’s Cannage pattern, and eye-catching knits that incorporate the beloved Dior Oblique motif.
