The linen shirt was pressed, the cufflinks carefully selected, the fragrance—something new, subtle, but distinct—settled in just as the guests arrived. Dressing for Eid this year wasn’t about extravagance, it was about intention. Pieces chosen with care. And in Abu Dhabi, that sense of thoughtful refinement was present in every detail.
From March 26 to April 6, the capital marked the season with Timeless Eid, Timeless Luxury, a city-wide campaign that redefined festive shopping. Spearheaded by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), the initiative went beyond retail, offering an immersive, elevated experience.
A centrepiece of the campaign was a short animated film, screened across mall displays and social platforms. It explored the idea of legacy through the lens of gifting—highlighting objects passed between generations as well as the sentiment and memories behind them.
Across Abu Dhabi’s retail landscape, global houses took part with limited-edition collections and bespoke pieces. Casablanca brought its Spring/Summer collection to the region for the first time—tailored sportswear silhouettes designed for warm days and eventful evenings. Louis Vuitton launched LV Mirage, a capsule exclusive to the season, while Tiffany & Co.’s HardWear collection introduced strong, architectural pieces that nodded to heirlooms.
Fragrances also had a special place in the campaign. French house Henry Jacques honoured Sheikh Zayed’s deep appreciation for perfumery through three exclusive blends—Rêve d’Or, Rose Sultan, and Majesté—available at Les Exclusifs in Abu Dhabi. LOEWE Perfumes marked the occasion with collectible pouches stamped with Eid greetings.
And for collectors of a different kind, Vacheron Constantin offered a singular highlight: the Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication. Created to honour the maison’s 270th anniversary, this Abu Dhabi-exclusive timepiece features a celestial map of the local sky, 23 complications, and a power reserve of three weeks—a rare feat of both engineering and design.
While Eid Al Fitr 2025 may have passed, its legacy endures in the pieces selected, the details considered, and the stories carried forward. In Abu Dhabi, the season was marked with craft, culture, and a specially curated luxury shopping experience.
