While I’m still curious as to how Emily Ratajkowski sources her dates—Raya? Her agent reaching out to prospective suitors? A stranger approaching her on her daily walk around Tribeca with her dog?—one thing is for certain: Emily Ratajkowski serves up real dating advice.

In her latest TikTok video, the 32-year old model, best-selling author and mother-of-one reveals the newly single version of herself was once (perhaps naively) willing to date anyone who would take her dinner.

“Grateful this period of the healing process has passed,” she captioned the video.

Ratajkowski famously filed for divorce from her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard last year after it was rumoured he was unfaithful. Her latest Tik Tok video proves that when it comes to matters of the heart—and when that heart has been smashed to smithereens—a dinner date with a lovely new stranger can seem like a great idea, an antidote to the hurt. (Ratajkowski had renowned psychotherapist Esther Perel on her podcast The High Low recently where they discussed at length why men cheat on their partners more than women. It’s an interesting chat, listen to it here.)

The model’s latest admission follows her recent musings on women getting divorced young.

“Personally, I find it chic to be divorced by the age of 30,” Ratajkowski posted to her TikTok. “So it seems like a lot of ladies are getting divorced before they turn 30. As someone who got married at 26 and been separated for a little over a year, [I’m] 32, I have to tell you I don’t think there’s anything better.”

“Being in your 20s is the trenches,” she added. “There is nothing better than being in your 30s (*having boundaries), still being hot, maybe having a little bit of your own money, and figuring out what you want to do with your life.”

Ratajkowski famously moved on from Bear McClard with Pete Davidson (that was over quickly), Eric André (remember the nude photo?) and Harry Styles. (remember the kiss in Tokyo behind the street van?) In Ratajkowski’s defence, if any of these men asked us on a dinner date, we would totally go!
