Kendall Jenner has made her belief in divine kismet forces apparent time and time again. So, what better proof that the stars have aligned in her favour on the evening of the first Monday in May than by forcing her to cross paths with her supernova rapper ex-boyfriend, Bad Bunny, at a Met Gala after-party?
It’s been exactly 365 days since Jenner and the Grammy Award-winning Puerto Rican musician soft launched their relationship at the 2023 iteration of the annual soiree. But perhaps a year only makes a negligible difference in celebrity time, with Jenner and Bunny captured cosying up in the corner of Emily Ratajkowski, Paloma Elsesser, Raul Lopez, Carlos Nazario and Francesco Risso’s Aprés Met party.
The star-studded post-Met fête was thrown at the downtown haunt WSA. Bunny was captured pouring himself a glass of Clase Azul tequila next to an unopened bottle of 818 Reserve before the party photographer captured an eagle-eyed shot of Jenner and Bunny laughing side-by-side. Peek at the PDA-filled shot, below.
Jenner and Bunny had both rung in the new year with their shared mutual friends Justin and Hailey Bieber in Barbados. It was reported they hadn’t rekindled their relationship after breaking up in November of 2023. (Though, we’re sure Kendall Jenner’s suite of revenge dressing Bottega Veneta looks in Aspen certainly would’ve piqued his interest).
Bunny had also allegedly rented the most expensive apartment in New York for the duo to share, though there is no word on what has happened to the residence since he signed the dotted line.
Across town in Manhattan, Luca Guadagnino, Jonathan Anderson and LOEWE threw another starry after party, with the luxuriate’s girls, gays and Irishmen dancing till the wee hours of Tuesday morning. Andrew “Hot Priest” Scott was filmed dancing with Kylie Minogue to her 2001 pop hit “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”. A Bottoms reunion was also on the cards, with Ayo Edebiri, Rachel Sennot, Nicholas Galtizine and Kaia Gerber teasing a sequel starring Troye Sivan.
Ahead, a look at the best after party looks from the 2024 Met Gala.
