The renowned British fitness apparel brand, Gymshark, officially opened its first flagship Middle East store at Dubai Mall on January 25, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion.
Gymshark founder Ben Francis, who attended the event alongside Chief Brand Officer Noel Mack, expressed his excitement about the brand’s entry into the region and Dubai. “I’m really excited that the day is finally here,” he said. “I’ve been visiting Dubai for many years, but a few months ago we made a trip to look at bringing Gymshark here. I was so impressed by the fitness culture in Dubai. I knew we had to be here.”

The launch event featured appearances by some of the biggest names in fitness, including Leana Deeb, Ryan Terry, and James Beardwell. Deeb, a trailblazer in the modest gym wear industry and a role model for millions of women worldwide, took part in a meet-and-greet session, engaging with fans and fellow fitness enthusiasts. Terry and Beardwell, esteemed and recognised figures in men’s fitness, joined in with the celebrations and, like Deeb, also interacted with attendees.
Beyond the star-studded guest list, the opening last month offered a variety of interactive experiences for visitors. Attendees tested their strength in fitness challenges, customised exclusive Gymshark apparel at a ‘customisation station’, and spun a wheel for a chance to win special prizes. The first 100 customers to make a purchase at Gymshark’s first Middle East store also received a commemorative gift.

The Dubai Mall store opening follows Gymshark’s successful pop-up at the Mall of the Emirates and marks a new chapter in the brand’s mission to foster a global fitness community.
