Helmut Lang

Helmut Lang might be best known for its minimalistic streetwear, but the new Fall/Winter 2018 collection lookbook has revealed a new look for the Austrian brand. While the simple aesthetic remains, the new collection has a more refined edge than previous seasons, blending elegant tailoring with street style to bold effect.

Designer Mark Thomas has revisited a range of classic Helmut Lang layering pieces, experimenting with a variety of textiles, colours and cuts. Looking to a more modern approach for FW18, the collection sees a line of tailored and structured blazers, parkas, coats and bottoms, softened with relaxed knitwear and sheer button-ups.

Made up mainly of black, grey, khaki green and beige tones, highlighted with random splashes of bold pink, yellow, blue and white, the range is designed for easy kit rotation. The release date for the Helmut Lang FW18 collection is yet to be confirmed, but this gallery below will whet your appetite.
