In a new interview with Vanity Fair, musician John Legend and wife model Chrissy Teigen have openly talked about their preference for America’s next President.
“My favourite — I’m going to say it, we’ll break news today — is Elizabeth Warren,” revealed Legend. “She’s the best candidate running today, and she comes at it with joy and with sincerity and with a wealth of knowledge and experience.”
“I love Elizabeth Warren,” Teigen added. “I also love Kamala Harris,” she said.
Teigen in particular has been a persistent critic of current President Donald Trump, his ridiculous policies are often prodded at by the model via her weapon of choice: Twitter. In September though, things got bad. Legend appeared on NBC’s Nightly News and promoted the criminal justice reform group he founded, FreeAmerica. Trump tweeted that the soul-singer “and his filthy mouthed wife” were taking credit for criminal justice advances his administration had put in place.
America has a very mature President, obviously.
In 2017, after years of back-and-forths between Teigen and Trump, the President blocked the model. This was the Tweet that broke the camel/orange man’s back:
