Combining classic British essentials and design cues from JW Anderson, comes the next collaboration with Uniqlo. Showcasing new Spring/Summer 2019 threads, the anticipated collection has finally dropped making for a line of trans-seasonal looks for literally pennies. Providing the goods for both men and women, the inspired looks add to the extensive offerings from the Japanese retail giant.
Soft silhouettes and fluid design make up much of the collection for men, with the added ability to mix and match amongst the capsule. Amongst tailored styles comes a more British sensibility with rugby jumper renditions, hooded coats and drawstring chinos. Infusing street style appeal, technical-feel parkas, bucket hats and patterned socks are woven throughout the collection for a more youthful approach.
“It is always fun collaborating with Uniqlo. I always find it super interesting how two brands with very different backgrounds can come together to create an exciting collection,” says Anderson. “In the third collation of the collaboration, I envision a summer wardrobe that could be relaxed and chic at the same time; a versatile and youthful collection.”
