After ending his 20-year basketball career in 2016, Kobe Bryant went on to win an Academy Award for his animated short-film and poem, “Dear Basketball”. Following up on his success, the legendary player has announced the launch of a new book.

Titled, ‘The Mamba Mentality: How I Play’, the memoir will cover 20 years of photos from hall-of-fame NBA photographer, Andrew D. Bernstein. Including an intro from Phil Jackson and foreword by Pau Gasol, this will be the first time that Bryant goes in-depth into his careful and precise methods when preparing for play – both physically and mentally. The NBA champion – five times to be exact – will look to fulfil his obligations to educate fans and more importantly young players.

The Mamba Mentality: How I Play will arrive on October 23 for $35 USD. It’s currently available for preorder on AmazonBarnes & NobleiBooks and IndieBound.
