Hiroshi Fujiwara

When the godfather of Japanese street culture, Hiroshi Fujiwara, joins forces with Maserati, a name synonymous with Italian automotive elegance, the result is a collision of two worlds that reshape the notion of luxury. Both icons are no strangers to pushing boundaries. Maserati has a history of teaming up with disruptors like ZEGNA, while Fujiwara’s collaborations with Nike, Moncler, and Louis Vuitton have cemented his status as a visionary tastemaker. With Fuoriserie By, they create something that feels more personal than product.

The centerpiece of the collaboration is Maserati’s MC20 Cielo, reimagined through Fujiwara’s Fragment lens. They’re cultural artifacts designed to blur the lines between utility and art. Two editions of MC20 Cielo Fuoriserie by Hiroshi Fujiwara have been conceived: the stealthy Nero Vulcano and the pristine Bianco Audace. Each a study in contrasts, swapping Maserati’s iconic Trident for Fragment’s double lightning bolt insignia — an unapologetic move that underscores the vision of this partnership.

Inside, the interiors are as meticulous as the exteriors are bold. Think black leather, white stitching, and Alcantara accents to create an aesthetic that’s understated but undeniably luxe.

Of course, beneath the surface lies the MC20 Cielo’s beating heart: the Nettuno V6 engine, an F1-derived marvel that bridges performance and precision. With its innovative retractable smart glass roof that switches from clear to opaque at a button’s touch, the car delivers not just speed but an intimate, sensory connection to the road and sky.

For Fujiwara, whose career has always been about distilling identity into wearable — and now, drivable — form, this collaboration with Maserati is a natural evolution. “Fuoriserie,” which translates to “out of the ordinary,” has long been Maserati’s customisation mantra. Now, it offers a platform for individuality on a new level. Klaus Busse, Maserati’s Head of Design, encapsulates this ethos: “Our wish here is for them to express their personality and passion by creating their very own Maserati.”

In a world oversaturated with cookie-cutter luxury, Fuoriserie By Hiroshi Fujiwara proves that bespoke design is more than a feature, and they’re waiting for those bold enough to take the keys.
